Dr. Yampolskiy is a Tenured Associate Professor in the department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Louisville. He is the founding and current director of the Cyber Security Lab and an author of many books including Artificial Superintelligence: a Futuristic Approach. Dr. Yampolskiy¡¯s main areas of interest are Artificial Intelligence Safety and Cybersecurity.
Engineering Manager, Synopsys
Alexey Brodkin is an engineering manager at Synopsys. He's been working with embedded systems for years starahulrting from 8-bit MCUs and gradually shifting to high-performance multi-core 32-bit CPUs. Alexey is the ARC architecture custodian at U-Boot bootloader, the co-maintainer of Linux kernel port for ARC, as well as a casual contributor to some other open source projects that he uses in his professional affairs. Today, with the increased complexity of deeply embedded systems, which requires the use of more complicated software, Alexey tries to apply his knowledge and experience with full-scale multi-core CPUs to the Zephyr RTOS. Alexey received his Master¡¯s Degree in computer science from Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University ¡°LETI¡±, in St Petersburg, Russia.

Benny holds a BSc and MSc in Electrical Engineering, and 17 years of experience in Business Development and Strategy in the semiconductor and automotive industries. He previously led Arm's competitive strategy in the automotive market, and was Sales Director at Imagination Technologies.
In his current role with the Israeli startup Visionary.AI, Benny works with OEMs and partners on real time video enhancement using AI.

Combined 30+ years of experience in Semiconductors, EDA tools, SoC Design, and Manufacturing Operations. Carlos held technical & managerial positions at Bell-Labs, AT&T Microelectronics, Cadence, and eSilicon Corporation.
He joined Sondrel in October¡¯2020 as Head of ASIC 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Architecture & Technical Sales with the purpose to expand Sondrel¡¯s footprint in North America. Carlos holds an MSEE degree from Cornell University. His areas of specialization include Telecommunications Systems, ASIC Design & Manufacture, and Formal Verification tools.

Charles has over 30 years of experience in the wireless semiconductor industry in design, marketing and applications engineering roles. Charles has worked on numerous leading-edge silicon and end user products based upon a wide breadth of short and long range wireless technologies. He has held leadership positions at Compaq, AMD, Alereon, Silicon Labs, Arm and joined Synopsys this year heading up the Bluetooth and 15.4 (¡°15-dot-4¡±) low power wireless IP portfolios. Charles received both his B.S. in Electronic Engineering and MBA from Texas A&M University.

Fergus Casey is Director of R&D for Processor IP at Synopsys with responsibility for Processor IP development across a broad portfolio including ARC RISC/DSP Processors, Embedded Vision and AI engines, and Safety and Security ready cores. Over the years with Synopsys, Fergus¡¯ team has been first to market with state-of-the-art Security and Safety ready processors and their products have won industry awards from the Linley Group and Embedded Vision Alliance. Prior to joining Synopsys, Fergus worked in a number of fabless semiconductor and IP startups. Fergus holds a bachelor¡¯s degree in electrical engineering from University College Cork, Ireland.

Frank C. Gover, P.E. (Professional Engineer), is a Physical Design application engineer at Synopsys. His current responsibilities involve leading global teams in advance technology nodes bring up and developing Quickstart Implementation Kits (QIKs) for different IPs. He has 20+ years of experience in the IC design industry, has three patents in the microprocessor design and several publications. Frank holds a M.S. in Engineering Management, a M.S. in Computer Engineering, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.

Gordon Cooper is a Product Marketing Manager for Synopsys¡¯ Embedded Vision Processor family. Gordon brings more than 20 years of experience in digital design, field applications and marketing at Raytheon, Analog Devices, and NXP to the role. Gordon also served as a Commanding Officer in the US Army Reserve, including a tour in Kosovo. Gordon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University.
Product Architect, TASKING Germany GmbH
Joachim Hampp is an engineer in computer science with over 30 years of embedded software engineering experiences. Since 1992 he had several positions in the automotive and multi core software development area. Before joining TASKING in 2018, he led the Center of Competence for software development of a major Tier1 who produces Cluster Instruments, Telematic- and Infotainment -System. Joachim Hampp is currently the Product Architect for TASKING, responsible for new products and new features within the TASKING product line.
ASIC Physical Design Engineer, Synopsys
John Moors started working for Philips Semiconductors in 1997 on PC monitors (the old analog ones with the big tubes) in the Systems Laboratory Eindhoven.
Around 2001 he moved to Philips Semiconductors Reuse Technology Group doing RTL design and synthesis on Epics7b DSP, and later also did maintenance place and route on ARM and MIPS processors.
John started working on ARC Processors when the department was bought by Virage Logic and remained there until Synopsys' acquisition of Virage Logic in 2011.

Markus Willems is the Sr. Product Marketing Manager for Synopsys' DSP solutions. He has been with Synopsys for 22 years supporting various system-level, functional verification and IP products. He has worked in the electronic design automation and computer industries for almost 30 years in a variety of senior positions, including marketing, applications engineering, and research. Prior to Synopsys, Markus was Product Manager at dSPACE, Paderborn, Germany. Markus received his Ph.D. (Dr.-Ing.) and M.Sc (Dipl.-Ing.) in Electrical Engineering from Aachen University of Technology in 1998 and 1992, respectively. He also holds an MBA (Dipl.Wirt-Ing) from Hagen University.

Mojin Kottarathil is a Staff Applications Engineer with the Virtual Prototyping team at 91³Ô¹ÏÍø, located in Austin, Texas. Patrick Harmon is Director of Processor and Security Systems Group at Synopsys with responsibility for providing consulting solutions around the complete Synopsys IP portfolio focusing primarily around processor and security IP.
Over the past 25 years Patrick's team have provided consulting services from Architecture through tape-out in a wide range of applications and markets including AI and AON applications as well as the Automotive, Data Center, and IoT markets. Prior to joining Synopsys Patrick worked as an SoC designer and Director of SoC development in the Aerospace Industry. Pieter van der Wolf is a Principal R&D Engineer at Synopsys. He received his MSc and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Delft University of Technology. He was an Associate Professor at the Delft University of Technology before joining Philips Research in 1996. In 2006 he joined NXP Semiconductors when it was spun out of Philips Electronics. In 2009 he joined Virage Logic, which was subsequently acquired by Synopsys. He has worked on a broad range of topics including multi-processor architectures and system design methodologies.

Dr. Pim Tuyls is the CEO and co-founder of Intrinsic ID, a leading provider of embedded security solutions. His ground-breaking work in the area of Physical Unclonable Functions (PUFs) was initiated within Philips Research in 2002 and forms the basis of Intrinsic ID, which was founded in 2008. Pim has a Ph.D. in mathematical physics from Leuven University, holds 50+ patents and is widely recognized for his work in the field of SRAM PUF and security for embedded applications, such as secure key storage and anti-counterfeiting. Intrinsic ID has a been a Synopsys partner since 2016.

Rich has over 25 years of experience in embedded semiconductor R&D, product marketing and business development, including 17 years at Motorola/Freescale before joining Synopsys. ?Rich holds an MBA from Duke University¡¯s Fuqua School of Business and a BSE in Electrical Engineering from Duke University.

Ruud Derwig has 20+ years of experience with software and system architectures for embedded systems. Key areas of expertise include hardware and software security, operating systems, media processing, and component-based architectures. He holds a master's degree in computing science and a professional doctorate in engineering. Ruud started his career at Philips Corporate Research, worked as a software technology competence manager at NXP Semiconductors, and is currently a software and systems architect at Synopsys.

Tom Michiels has more than two decades of processor design and development experience, and is currently a system architect working on the Synopsys DesignWare embedded vision processors. Vladimir Soukharev is the Principal Cryptographic Technologist & Chief Post-Quantum Researcher at InfoSec Global. In this position, he is leading innovations and optimizations in modern cryptography, leading the path to cryptographic agility, and working on the cryptographic lifecycle management. He is also conducting post-quantum cryptographic research and influencing and contributing to product development. Dr. Soukharev is actively working with NIST on new post-quantum standards, NCCoE, was part of the Centre of Applied Cryptographic Research and CryptoWorks21. He received his Ph.D. in Cryptography, Security and Privacy from David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo and has dedicated his career to advancing the knowledge and application of advanced cryptography and cyber security technologies to protect vital information and communications.
